A regenerative hobby farm and native plant nursery rooted in the red dirt of central Oklahoma. We grow things that belong here, and share everything we learn along the way.
Oklahoma Native Plant Nursery Norman, OK
Gardening is how we connect to everything.
We're Steve and Amber. We are home gardeners, plant nerds, and believers in the idea that growing your own food and medicine is one of the most meaningful things a person can do. Plant Paradise started as a hobby and became a way of life. We propagate native, medicinal, and edible plants here in Norman, and we love sharing what we grow with our neighbors and community.
What we grow
Plants that earn their place.
Native
Oklahoma natives evolved here. They know the soil, the heat, the drought. We grow plants that belong to this land and give it back something in return — habitat, pollinators, deep roots.
Medicinal
Echinacea, lemon balm, yarrow, elderberry. Plants your grandparents knew by name. We grow them because healing should start in the garden, not the pharmacy aisle.
Edible
Asparagus, garlic, herbs, perennial vegetables. Food that comes back every year without asking. We plant for the long table — the one where there's always enough.
Our Place
Norman has a thriving native plant community
Central Oklahoma is one of the most botanically rich regions in the country — and Norman's gardeners know it. We're proud to be part of a community that takes native plants seriously, supports local growers, and understands that what you plant in your yard matters beyond your fence line.
How We Can Help
More than plants.
Whether you need a plant recommendation, a second opinion on your garden plan, or just want to talk through what's possible on your property — we're here for it. Plant sales, propagation advice, and garden consultations all live here.
From the garden
We write about what we grow
Garden notes, propagation experiments, native plant profiles, and the occasional meditation on why any of this matters. The blog is coming — check back soon, or follow us on Instagram at @plantparadiseok to catch everything as it happens.
